Have you thought about the risks to your charity or group if you were hacked, phished or your online presence was attacked in some way?
Sometimes it's easy to assume that charities and community groups are either too small or too 'nice' to be targeted, but we all know how easy it is for a fraudulent invoice to get through the system or for a link to accidentally be clicked.
Now that we are online more than ever, it's becoming more and more important to be aware of the potential risks and what steps you can take to minimise them.
During this short workshop we will discuss:
The session will take place online and is open to small charities, community interest companies and other registered non-profits in Cornwall.
The content of this workshop has been created in partnership with NAVCA (National Association for Voluntary and Community Action) and NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre).
These sessions are free* to attend for anyone that works or volunteers as a part of a small charity, community interest company, community group or non-profit can register to join one of our Cyber Security sessions.
Please limit your bookings to a maximum of two people per organisation/group.
Each of the sessions will be delivered via Microsoft Teams.
As this is session involves some discussion, attendees will be required to have access to a computer with a working microphone.
