Volunteering Mobilisation Officer

This post is for between 30 - 37½ hours per week (flexible) for 12 months is based in Truro.
Salary of £21,074 p.a. (pro rata) and an essential car user allowance of £600 p.a. (pro rata)

Working with charities, community groups and public sector partners, this role involves creating and running a multi-media campaign to boost the number of people getting involved in voluntary action around health and care across Cornwall. 

Based in our Truro office, the successful applicant will be experienced in marketing or publicity work and familiar with new and traditional media platforms. Good I.T. skills are essential as is the ability to work as part of a wider team focused on improving health and care outcomes.

Volunteer Passport Development Officer

This post is for between 30 - 37½ hours per week (flexible) for 12 months is based in Truro.
Salary of £21,074 p.a. (pro rata) and attracts an essential car user allowance of £600 p.a. (pro rata) 

Working with charities, community groups and public sector partners, we are looking for someone to oversee the creation of a ‘passport’ scheme to allow volunteers to record their training, skills and experience so they can move flexibly between organisations as they support people in the health and care system.

Based in our Truro office, the successful applicant will be experienced in project management or process review.  Good I.T. skills are essential as is the ability to work as part of a wider team focused on improving health and care outcomes.  A knowledge of the voluntary sector in Cornwall would be helpful.

Volunteer Cornwall has been funded by Cornwall Council to employ a Volunteer Co-ordinator to recruit and train parent volunteers to work alongside SCIP Workers within the Supporting Change in Partnership Service.

Volunteer Cornwall is a county-wide organisation, supporting the development of people and communities through voluntary action. Working with public and voluntary sector partners, this is an exciting post which is initially for 12 months.

Volunteer Co-ordinator

This part-time post for 18.75 hours (2½ days) per week
is based in Truro and attracts a salary of
£21,074 p.a. pro rata
and 
an essential car user allowance of £600 p.a. pro rata

The postholder will recruit, train, support and develop a team of volunteers to deliver a solution focused, goal orientated service supporting disabled children, young people and their families.

They will work in partnership with the Disabled Children and Therapy Service (DCTS) as well as other partners, to ensure that disabled children and their families get the right support at the right time.

The successful applicant will have experience of managing volunteers, an understanding of the needs of families with disabled children, strong communication skills and a passion for making a difference to the lives of people.

Good I.T. skills are essential as is the ability to work as part of a wider team focused on improving health and care outcomes.

A willingness and ability to travel throughout Cornwall is essential.
