Working with Cascade Theatre Company, we aim to transform the  way in which people on the autistic spectrum view  themselves, enhancing their self-belief in their own capabilities.

We are currently running a  programme using  the medium of drama, creative arts and cutting edge psychological insights to help high functioning people on the autistic spectrum.

The aim of the programme is to help all the participants develop confidence, courage, relationships skills, employment skills and an unshakeable belief in themselves in a safe nurturing environment. There will be challenges, team building and lots of laughter and support.

The group will be using their diverse skills to create a performance that brings their hopes and journey to life, it will also highlight to others their capabilities and skills.

The participants will then take part in a series of taster sessions led by experts in creative mediums, careers and employability and areas that interest them on an individual basis.

As the journey continues Voluntary placements will be sought and supported to further enhance the participants sense of self belief. Volunteer Cornwall at the same time will be engaging  with employers and encouraging them to become a stakeholder in this incredible journey.
