There were also discussions about prevention and self-care and how to make sure health and care is planned and joined-up to meet the needs of the person receiving it, their carer and family. People also wanted to learn more about urgent treatment centres; public transport in rural areas; and the vital role of the voluntary sector.

The evidence so far is being reviewed to support the proposals. It is anticipated that Wave 3 workshops will be held in mid to late February/early March next year.
