Transport Department
The transport department of Volunteer Cornwall has an objective to work towards addressing the isolation and social exclusion which exists in Cornwall. With that in mind we operate a number of different community transport schemes ourselves and provide expertise, training and assistance to other community groups who are either starting a new scheme or seeking to improve upon an existing scheme.
The schemes we operate include (Click to find more):
- Community Car Scheme
- Go!truro shopmobility scheme
- Extended Schools and Community Group minibus driver scheme
- Little red bus scheme in Launceston and the surrounding parishes
We also assist other community transport schemes by providing expertise, training, support and guidance.
If you would like to help us we would be delighted to hear from you.
We have a database of volunteers which is growing. Please ask if you need help.
